Architecture Archive

Throughout the numerous Los Angeles-based newspapers, periodicals and vintage advertising, the archive covers two important styles; Mid-century Modernism and Googie and Space Age Architecture. Architects such as Richard Neutra, Pierre Koenig, Paul R. Williams, Charles Eames, Welton Becket are fairly well represented.

The material here includes images renderings from a number of books with mostly California architecture, but don’t be alarmed at the odd East Coast image. Additional content will be added over time.
